About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will fabricate high-end metal details, complex weldments, and architectural facade products. This is a custom manufacturing environment, not a repetitive assembly line. You will work from blueprints and engineering drawings, weld a variety of materials—specifically Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless—and ensure every piece meets rigorous aesthetic and structural standards. We are looking for hands-on builders who bring a strong work ethic to the floor and enjoy the challenge of creating visible, high-impact work. Profiles encouraged to apply include: experienced metal fabricators, custom job-shop welders, structural fitters, architectural metalworkers, and detail-oriented tradespeople who enjoy the challenge of working with different metals and complex geometries. The ideal candidate is a versatile material specialist, comfortable switching between MIG and TIG and working with different metals (Steel, Aluminum, Stainless) without dropping quality. They have an architectural eye, understanding that in facade work, the finish matters, and take pride in clean beads and precise fit-up. They are a blueprint-driven builder, able to translate complex weld symbols and drawings into clean, accurate assemblies and catch dimensional issues before they become rework. Finally, they are a reliable team player, bringing energy to the floor, communicating clearly with management, and respecting the safety and workflow of their fellow teammates.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience as a metal fabricator
Strong proficiency in MIG and TIG welding (must have experience with Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical instructions
Physical ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly and perform repetitive tasks/manual dexterity work
Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane

Nice To Haves

Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
Experience in architectural metals, custom manufacturing, or job-shop environments
Certification in welding or fabrication technology

Responsibilities

Execute Precision MIG & TIG Welding – Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel. You must be able to adapt to a variety of thicknesses and positions to meet the visual and structural requirements of architectural work.
Fabricate Architectural Metals & Facades – Interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, bills of materials, and diagrams to accurately layout, fit, and fabricate complex architectural weldments and facade components.
Ensure High-End Finish Quality – Because much of our work is visible (architectural), you must produce clean welds and utilize grinders/finish tools to meet strict aesthetic specifications.
Operate Fabrication Tools and Equipment – Utilize handheld tools (grinders, weld stud guns) and heavy machinery (forklifts, overhead cranes) to manipulate large metal components safely and efficiently.
Perform In-Process Quality Inspections – Use calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other precision tools to verify geometric accuracy; identify defects early and rework as needed to meet specifications.
Maintain Equipment and Work Area – Perform preventative maintenance on weld machines, create specific setups/fixtures for unique builds, and keep the workspace clean and safe.
Model Professional Shop Behavior – Work effectively in a team environment, respect all teammates, and demonstrate self-motivation and high attention to detail.
