About The Position

Due to growth within our welding department, we are looking for qualified welders to join our Day Shift Weld team. Our welders report to the manufacturing manager. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in reading blueprints, rework instructions, work orders, engineering orders, and someone who can follow written and verbal instructions.

Requirements

• 1 year of welding experience preferred.
• Welding Certification preferred.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Blueprint knowledge preferred.
• Weld symbol knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with coworkers and management.
• Learns all aspects of Diamond Mowers' product line continuously.
• Maintains great attendance to ensure manufacturing plans are met and individual accountability.
• Ensure proper lifting techniques; including proper hoist usage, asking for assistance, or any other measure to ensure safe lifting techniques are completed.
• Keeps a neat and clean work environment.
• Wears proper safety gear where/when required, Exp: weld helmet, gloves, shields and steel toed boots.
• Strive for an injury free workplace through a 'safety first' attitude.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• All other duties are performed as necessary.
