About The Position

The Welder position involves working on day shift and requires a minimum of 5 years of TIG and Flux Core welding, fit-up, and fabrication experience. The role focuses on manufacturing close tolerance component parts to meet customer and industry standards. Responsibilities include interpreting mechanical drawings and sketches, performing metal cutting, grinding, shaping, fitting, and welding. The employee must be able to pass ASME Section IX and AWS welding standards in various positions and processes. Additionally, the role requires the application of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry concepts relevant to welding and fabrication. The position works under limited supervision and demands physical endurance for various tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of TIG and Flux Core welding experience.
• Experience in fit-up and fabrication.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and sketches.
• Knowledge of metal cutting, grinding, shaping, fitting, and welding processes.
• Ability to pass ASME Section IX and AWS welding standards.
