About The Position

Worley is a global professional services company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources. The company partners with customers to deliver projects and create value throughout the life of their assets, aiming to bridge traditional energy sources with more sustainable alternatives. The Welder Combo 1 position involves laying out, aligning, and welding fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, buildings, and pipe, all in accordance with blueprints and metallurgy.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and make repairs to pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums
• Set up equipment and weld either pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Product quality work with reasonable efficiency
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs
• Assist other mechanics
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
