About The Position
Operator arc and gas welding on a wide variety of metals and their alloys, not requiring all-position welding. Six thousand (6,000) hours of experience required to become familiar with various basic trade fundamentals as applied in connection with millwrighting to acquire sufficient background to perform work. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.
Requirements
- Requires a vocational or high school graduate with courses in mechanical drawing, shop mathematics and shop practices plus a formal on-the-job training or equivalent program.
- Must be a sole US citizen.
- Six thousand (6,000) hours of experience required to become familiar with various basic trade fundamentals as applied in connection with millwrighting to acquire sufficient background to perform work.
