About The Position

Responsible for maintaining key performance metrics such as
safety, quality, and delivery.  Will weld to AWS specs spot weld, operate a
variety of tools and equipment.  Tools will include prints, bills, ARI,
engineering/supervisor direction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Equivalent of one year acceptable welding experience, one year of technical college, Company welding course, or equivalent training.
• Must have held “B” Welder position for 75 days minimum.
• Must have passed welder certification test and have stamp.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial.
• Equivalent of one year acceptable welding experience preferred or satisfactorily completing the Company welding course and successfully pass test when tested.

Responsibilities

• Operate weld equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Perform all position and types of welding including certified.
• Report labor and job data accurately.
• Maintain quality, safety and efficiency.
• Maintain clean and neat work area.
• Perform other jobs within the department or plant as required by supervision.
