Requirements

Experience: Requires 1–2 years of production-setting MIG welding experience or formal technical training.
Certifications: Candidates must pass a Madix-specific weld test; AWS or ASME certifications are preferred but not always required.
Technical Math: Proficiency in basic math, including fractions and angles, is essential for accurate measuring and cutting.

Responsibilities

Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, fit, and join metal components to build various store fixtures and retail equipment.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and use tape measures, protractors, and engineered drawings to ensure welds meet exact specifications.
Equipment Operation: Set up and adjust welding machines according to gauge and product requirements; may also operate manual or semi-automatic equipment.
Quality & Safety: Inspect final products for quality, maintain a clean work area, and strictly follow safety protocols while wearing PPE (helmets, respirators, etc.).
