Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited welding program OR 1 year of industrial TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and use precision measurement equipment.
  • Proficient in TIG (GTAW) welding and able to pass a 6G weld test on Stainless.
  • Willingness to work 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM, M-F) and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, arrange, fit, and assemble a variety of materials (stainless, nickel alloy, Hast-X) and components using tig welding processes and procedures
  • Strong assessment of weld parameter inputs with the ability to make adjustments during welding
  • Interpret and execute production using drawings and blueprints
  • Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries accurately and in a timely manner after completing work orders
  • Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
  • Collaborate in a team environment focused on lean manufacturing, safety, and productivity.
  • Take ownership of compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, and look up work instructions
  • Utilize work instructions, set-up sheets, fixtures and method documents to correctly set up parts to be welded
  • Ability to work overtime, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional weekend shifts, with or without reasonable accommodation
