About The Position

For more than 70 years, Senior Metal Bellows has been pushing the limits of innovation—designing and building custom-engineered metal bellows for industries that demand the best: aerospace, defense, energy, and beyond. We’re not just making parts—we’re making solutions no one else can. And we want you to be part of it. What You'll Do Interpret and Execute: Work directly from engineering drawings and documented instructions, translating technical specifications into precise, high-quality work. Master Precision Tools: Confidently use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, mallets) and operate tabletop arbor presses to achieve exact specifications. Specialize in HELICOIL Installation: Perform HELICOIL installations with precision, using correct insertion and tang-break tools to ensure lasting component integrity. Optimize Welding Performance: Precision grind tungsten electrodes to exacting standards, directly impacting stable arc performance and weld quality. Handle Advanced Materials: Safely manage components heated to 200°C and parts "shrink-fitted" or chilled using liquid nitrogen—developing expertise in thermal processing techniques. Apply Industrial Compounds: Apply industrial epoxies, potting compounds, and paints with full knowledge of curing and safety protocols, ensuring professional-grade results. Verify Quality and Integrity: Use precision instruments like micrometers and vernier calipers to verify dimensions, perform visual inspections of weld beads, and operate leak check equipment to guarantee product reliability. Drive Continuous Improvement: Adjust machine settings and tooling to stay within quality tolerances, proactively escalating issues to supervisors to drive process improvements. Leverage Technology: Use basic computer systems for labor transactions and production tracking, building your technical competency.
