GENERAL SUMMARY:This position is responsible for technical, mechanical, pneumatic, electrical support, troubleshooting and repair of all plant welding and assembly equipment.PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to :Installing, repairing, servicing machinery and equipment support systemsIdentifying and trouble-shooting production problemsMaintaining production lines, perform predictive and preventive maintenance.Supporting daily production, addressing downtime, correcting and resetting faults, replacing Sensors , Cords , Caps , shunts , etc…….In a timely manner.Assuring all automatic nut/stud feeders are stocked verifying correct Part # and free of debris before filling machine.Assuring all Sealer/Adhesive is working properly ,purged as required and replaced when needed.Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices along with all Safety Policies and ProceduresComply with all Quality System procedures , assure Red Rabbits are ran and recorded each shift , properly communicate any abnormal event if required to appropriate personnel.Ability to understand, record, and communicate system problems and solutions.Perform weld robot program touch ups.Perform weld robot programming for prototype work.Assemble and robotically weld prototype parts.Demonstrate good attendance with the ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.Any other duties as assigned by Managers, Supervisor and/or Leaders to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of products, processes and work.
