The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accountable, and passionate about delivering quality products. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Engineering and Operations teams, develop problem-solving skills, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of welding procedures.
  • Intermediate to advanced math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
  • Able to gain fundamental knowledge of the process specific equipment.
  • Organizational skills with attention to details.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strive for continuous improvement both professionally and personally.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and accountability.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and complete process steps independently.
  • Troubleshoot and correct parameters as required.
  • Troubleshoot equipment inconsistencies as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Read drawings to identify cladding dimensions and thicknesses.
  • Verify thickness with basic dimensional measuring tools.
  • Create and maintain parameter and work order records of work performed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Report any safety or quality issues to your supervisor.
  • Be adaptable to take on additional duties as needed, including occasional overtime.
