About The Position

A weld line helper will assist on the production assembly line and work with hand tools and automated machinery. A helper must be able to stand for long periods of time and keep flow of the product moving while producing a good, quality part.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Motivated self-starter that can work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to read and understand measuring devices used on diameter verifications.
  • Must be able to perform moderate lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to stand for up to 12 hrs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the proper setup and use of the grinder/sander equipment according to written specifications.
  • Operate grinder/sander equipment while maintaining a steady flow of production throughout the production line.
  • Perform snap gage measurement of parts processed.
  • Perform all tasks and duties in harmony with other employees to create and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Person or Supervisor/Manager.
