About The Position
IFS InfraSource is looking for a Welder Fuser to join out Greater Cleveland Area team. A welder fuser, also known as a gas fuser or pipe welder, installs and maintains gas piping systems using welding and fusion techniques.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods and kneel, crawl, climb and reach
- Ability to pass pre -employment drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Installing new gas mains and services, and assembling and securing pipes, tubes, and fittings
- Examining and testing installed systems and pipelines
- Measuring and marking pipes for cutting and threading
- Planning pipe system layout, installation, and repair
- Modifying , cleaning, and maintaining pipe systems
