About The Position

Weld Assemblers are responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Weld Assemblers prepare and position parts for assembly, ensure each component is fastened together correctly, check connections, and log any discrepancies. Weld Assemblers will be required to read measurements, verify specifications and measure completed components.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds
• Must be able to use overhead crane
• Must be able to use grinder, power tools
• Must be able to read simple blueprints
• Must be able to use measuring tools
• Must be competent in basic inspections
• Ability to work in high paced environment
• Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odor, oils and chemicals

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in metal manufacturing industry is preferred
