Join Our Team as a Welcome Lobby Ambassador - Bilingual! The Economic Security Administration (ESA) is expanding its team of Welcome Lobby Ambassadors to support residents at our Service Centers across Washington, D.C. As a Welcome Lobby Ambassador, you'll be the face of the ESA, providing essential support to our District customers. Your role will include greeting residents, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the appropriate services. You will also assist in document intake, scanning, indexing, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This position is crucial in helping the community navigate the services available to them, making your role both impactful and rewarding. In this full-time position, you will work in a dynamic environment where customer engagement is key. You will be responsible for greeting customers warmly, identifying their needs, and providing clear guidance to resolve their issues. Additionally, you will assist customers with document pick-up/drop-off, provide demos for the District Direct Mobile App, and support online form completion. Your back-office tasks will include helping with scanning, tagging documents, and maintaining up-to-date records to keep our processes running smoothly. Collaboration with Social Service Administrators (SSAs) and leadership will be essential to improve Service Center operations and enhance the customer experience. You will also play a role in continuous improvement by identifying and communicating potential quality issues and collaborating with the team to enhance service delivery.
