About The Position

The Guest Service Manager at FedExFamilyHouse is responsible for providing leadership that engages the service team to enhance the guest experience, ensure customer loyalty, and guarantee satisfaction. This role involves resolving guest complaints, monitoring operational issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The manager will also prepare associate schedules, implement training, and contribute to the budget process while providing continuous coaching to associates.

Requirements

  • Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a related or management position.
  • Hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform critical analysis and manage a wide range of information.
  • Strong diplomacy and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hire, train, coach, and develop staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including effective task delegation and time management.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve and react to guest complaints, needs or concerns.
  • Ensure all guests receive appropriate responses in a timely and professional manner.
  • Anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints logs and records.
  • Keep accurate logs, analyze statistics and prepare reports for Department Leaders.
  • Follow up regularly with Department Leaders regarding the Guest Response process.
  • Communicate daily with management to assure consistency.
  • Prepare associate schedules and implement training and procedures.
  • Contribute to the budget process and ensure labor and direct expenses are met.
  • Provide continuous coaching to associates and leadership.
  • Communicate professionally and positively with guests and associates.
