ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Ensure exceptional customer service and engagement for all members and guests at the AYCC. Welcome and direct visitors both in person and via the phone, process program and membership registrations, and otherwise provide a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Greet the public, answer the telephone, and provide accurate program information in a positive, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful manner. Regularly check company email and respond as required. Process visitor transactions, membership registrations & renewals. Verify active membership upon member’s arrival. Monitor member facility access. Provide facility tours to prospective members, donors, and other guests. Control the vestibule and lobby areas by providing assistance to patrons and directing children as needed. Monitor the cameras for any unusual behaviors or activities. Assist and direct members in emergency situations. Process payments, make change and write/print receipts accurately. Reconcile cash, checks, and credit card swipes to sales reports at the end of each shift. Maintain current facility schedules and registration information (pools, classes, Adventure Playland) at Welcome Center. Keep the Welcome Center and AYCC Store neat, clean, and organized. File paperwork and perform data entry as needed.
