About The Position

Weight Operations Technical Analysts (Associate or Mid-Level) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Weight Operations Technical Analysts (Associate or Mid-Level) to support initiatives within Weight Operations Team that is based in Everett, Washington. As an Associate Weight Operations Tech Analyst, you will support the commercial airplane programs by managing and analyzing weight data throughout the aircraft's development and production. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimize aircraft performance. With a focus on accuracy and detail, you will play a vital role in maintaining effective weight control initiatives. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Mid-Level Weight Operations Technical Analysts.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with technical analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience in weighing aircraft.
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Experience with aircraft weight and center of gravity estimation, calculation, verification and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in Process management.
  • Experience in Loadmaster training.

Responsibilities

  • Develops inventory equipment lists, conducts inventories, weighs aircraft, determines center of gravity of aircraft and documents results.
  • Prepares Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual.
  • Balances flight control surfaces.
  • Develops standard flight load planning and helps direct airplane loading of variable load elements.
  • Assists in the inspection of aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on airplane gross weight and center of gravity and prepares flight manifests for pilot's signatures and flight release.
  • Weighs and determines the centers of gravity of components and assemblies.
  • Resolves routine problems with equipment, components and weighing systems.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Ability to work 3rd shift Wednesday through Sunday.

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $56,950 - $77,050
  • Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $68,850 - $93,150
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
