About The Position

This position consists of, but is not limited to, loading and weighing trucks according to DOT rules and Martin Marietta policies and procedures. The role requires accurately entering information into the ticketing system and building rapport with customers. Communication with dispatchers, customers, owner operators, supervisors, and all levels of personnel is essential. The employee will execute all Martin Marietta Materials Inc. policies and procedures. This position will be at our Hassayampa Sand and Gravel Location.

Requirements

• Friendly, courteous, and professional with internal and external customers.
• Customer service focus.
• Able to procure weighmaster license within 120 days.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-starter, takes initiative in problem solving while excelling under pressure.
• Displays a team attitude.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to procure weighmaster license within 90 days.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous scale operator experience preferred.
• Dependable, self-motivated and positive attitude when working with others in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards.
• Proactive in safety and works well in a team environment.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical.
• Able to travel between aggregate locations when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the construction industry with preferred aggregates or asphalt emphasis.
• Proven customer service skills and attention to detail.
