About The Position

The Drafter/Designer develops drawings for constructing new equipment or implementing changes to existing equipment.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD drafting software required
• Experience with AutoCAD Inventor preferred
• Proficient skills in standard office software packages
• Ability to work 40-hour work week, M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., additional hours as needed
• Fluent use of the verbal and written English language
• Willing and able to work outside the office as required to inspect and gather relevant information

Responsibilities

• Creation of detailed drawings
• Documentation and record keeping
• Obtaining bids for fabrication of equipment
• Compiling and awarding bid packages for fabrication of equipment
• Ensuring drawings meet Marine standards and regulatory compliance
