About The Position

Celestial Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one medical home care to clients in their homes. This role allows caregivers to work closely with patients, ensuring personalized care in a supportive environment, away from the high patient ratios of larger facilities. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.

Requirements

• Must be located in Arizona.
• Ability to travel to patient's home location.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stretch, and reach.
• Ability to lift, assist, and maneuver patients as needed.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Demonstrated dedication and patience.

Nice To Haves

• C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCT (Personal Care Technician) experience is preferred but not required.
• Applications from non-CNAs in medical or nursing school are accepted.
• Experience as companions, certified caregivers, patient care technicians (P.C.T.), or home health aides (H.H.A.) is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Work at least 5 shifts a month, including one weekend per month.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as personal care, light cooking, and cleaning.
• Help patients transfer and take vital signs.
• Report concerns to the nursing support team.
• Perform light house cleaning and cooking duties.
• Listen to patients and respond to their concerns or requests.
• Communicate any concerns to the support team when assistance is necessary.
