About The Position

Anna Maria of Aurora is seeking a dependable, compassionate team member for a dual-role Cook/Server position in our long-term care and assisted living community. In this role, you will help provide nutritious meals and create a positive, welcoming dining experience for our residents. If you enjoy working with seniors and being part of a supportive team, we’d love to meet you.

Requirements

Previous cooking or food service experience required
Ability to work in both kitchen and dining service roles
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Nice To Haves

ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to menus and therapeutic diet requirements
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor food temperatures and maintain required logs
Ensure proper food storage and labeling
Assist with kitchen prep and organization
Serve meals to residents in a friendly, respectful manner
Assist residents during mealtimes as needed
Set up and clean dining areas
Follow portion control and dietary guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas
Exhibits dependability through consistent attendance on all scheduled shifts
Attend all mandatory trainings and departmental meetings
Wear name badge at all times while on duty; maintain clean appropriate uniform, proper nail length, no facial piercing.
