About The Position

The Weekend Supervisor is to oversee supervisory responsibilities of the Weekend Youth Development Specialists who are responsible for providing services to individuals in the residential setting as determined with the interdisciplinary treatment team. The supervisor ensures that policy, procedure and protocol is followed. The position provides quality youth care and close intensive supervision of clients in a residential treatment setting. This includes a range of residential services, tracking and reporting on resident’s treatment progress, and serving as a positive role model for behavior.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a social or behavioral science or other relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and assist a team of staff who report directly to the supervisor.
  • Assist in new employee/intern orientation.
  • Identify needs for staff development and help execute trainings to address needs.
  • Act as a communication liaison between case managers and program leadership/administration.
  • Offer feedback, ideas, and strategy for behavior management.
  • Oversee quality of daily charting, incident reports, and other documentation completed by those who directly report to the supervisor.
  • Coordinate staff schedules.
  • Perform other supervisory duties, including performance evaluations, check-ins, recognition, and corrective action, and all associated documentation within expected timeframes.
  • Administer Northwest Passage’s programming, centering on blending sophisticated mental health treatment with experiential and expressive opportunities to help children and adolescents achieve positive outcomes.
  • Oversee facilitation of groups, activities, and overall weekend schedule.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure staff are aware of and are following current policies and procedures.
  • Oversee budget and need for supplies.
