About The Position

As a Weekend Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing and directing the daily operations of our Nursing Services Department. You will have the opportunity to work closely with residents, physicians, and the nursing team to ensure exceptional care and a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

• Valid RN/LVN license required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility, skilled nursing, or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for improving the lives of residents through compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director of Nursing Services in managing and leading the nursing team.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Conduct rounds to ensure nursing personnel are performing duties according to established standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and participate in rounds as necessary.
• Oversee new resident admissions and discharges, ensuring proper communication and execution.
• Review nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
• Provide reports and recommendations to the Director of Nursing Services and Administrator.
