About The Position

As a Weekend Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the staff during the day shift. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, overseeing the coordination of services to support the facility's objectives, and managing the company staff’s productivity and assignments while fostering a positive working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the janitorial or related services industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Must speak English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to perform work accurately completely, and promptly.
  • Constant standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the staff during each shift, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and perform duties efficiently.
  • Schedule and coordinate work assignments, including routine cleaning tasks and special projects.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Monitor and inspect cleaning activities to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Address any issues or concerns related to service quality promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for the staff.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the staff for their professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or corrective actions as needed.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the team.
