The Weekend Shift CNC Operator position is based in Jefferson, WI, and requires working on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5 am to 5:30 pm. This role is ideal for individuals with some experience in a CNC environment, as pay will be commensurate with experience. Basin Precision Machining offers the opportunity to set up and operate some of the newest technology in machines, including a state-of-the-art fleet of Mazaks equipped with pallet tech technology that can run and store 120 pallets across six linked Mazak horizontals. The company specializes in supplying hydraulic manifolds for many large companies. As a CNC Operator, you will be trained to operate and accurately load products on two or more work centers to produce high-quality, in-tolerance parts. You will gain an understanding of CNC coordinate systems and offsets, part inspection, and print reading. Additionally, you will learn about the correlation of tooling inspection requirements and how to adjust processes based on tooling conditions. Proficiency in required inspection and gauging techniques is essential, as is performing all preventative maintenance and cleaning maintenance activities required for the work center and area in which you operate. You will also be responsible for accurately reporting production and maintaining the necessary production quantities for the operations performed.
