Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are critical, along with the ability to multitask, lead with professionalism, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment. Your Impact as a Weekend RN Supervisor In this role, you will: Supervise Nursing Staff : Assign and delegate duties appropriately based on resident census and staff availability Oversee Medication Management : Monitor medication administration and coordinate reorders Implement Care Plans : Ensure care plans are followed according to company policy and physician orders Provide Direct Care Support : Perform and supervise treatments, and serve as staff nurse as needed Manage Documentation : Transcribe physician orders promptly, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records Lead Shift Communication : Participate in shift reports and ensure staff are informed of care needs Ensure Compliance : Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices Respond to Staffing Needs : Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages Oversee Incidents : Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports Manage Lab Work : Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up This position requires a minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours of work per day during assigned shifts.
Requirements
- Is a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Texas
- Demonstrates strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- Brings excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Can remain composed during emergencies and manage workflow effectively
- Is passionate about quality resident care and collaborative team support
