About The Position

Job Summary:

Monitor operations and ensure that products conform to the quality standards set by the organization. Oversee quality testing and inspection process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Initiative to anticipate and act upon potential and existing problems.
• Ability to deliver constructive feedback in a positive, direct manner.
• Simple Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs.
• Able to bend, climb, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with various departments to identify opportunities and determine solutions.
• Adhere to workplace safety standards in all aspects of the job.
• Contribute to a team-centered working environment.
• Make judgments based on specifications and technical data regarding conformance.
• Ability to follow work instructions.
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities.
• Knowledge of basic English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work within the quality department to ensure quality assurance standards, practices, and processes are complete.
• Assist with any investigations into nonconformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented to reduce product defects.
• Ensure product first article checks meet quality specifications.
• Release finished product for shipment and ensure documentation is complete.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
• As needed, must be able to work all shifts, weekends.
• Willing to learn and train on quality objectives.
• Proactive and self-starting, working in a culture of goal-setting with continuous improvement focus.
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
• Quality sampling with hygienic process.
• Review and approve documentation and labels for quality release.
• Check work in progress and finished goods to ensure they are correct to specifications.
• Review labels to ensure they are the correct to the specifications.
• Verification of scale accuracy with scale weights
