About The Position

Western Home Communities is looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our award-winning team. Requirements

• Graduate of a state board-approved nursing program
• Licensed as an LPN or RN in the state of Iowa
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong attendance and reliability

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with physicians, supervisors, and team members
• Monitor and assess resident conditions, addressing needs promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on care plans and priorities
• Coordinate resident admissions and family communications
• Promote emotional and physical comfort for residents and families
• Lead, mentor, and support certified nursing assistants (CNAs)
