About The Position

Work with a great team and cutting-edge scanning technology as a patient-centered MRI Technologist in both a Level 1 Trauma Center. This position joins an expanding team and performs MRI exams using independent judgment and initiative, prepares patients for MRI exams, administers contrast media, and is capable of starting an intravenous catheter. This position also functions as a resource for Radiologic Technology students and interns and is an advocate for MRI safety. This job provides: Environmental balance - 1.5-2 techs per scanner. Focus around MRI safety. Creative work schedule and more time outside of work. No call! Holiday rotation. Work Schedule: Every weekend, Saturday/Sunday from 5:45 p.m.-6:15 a.m. with holiday rotation. Requirements

  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program of Radiologic Technology or ARRT-approved equivalent.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Obtain the advanced ARRT registry in MRI within 18 months of hire.
  • BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
