About The Position

The Outbound Team Leader helps oversee the shipping operation and supports the
team to keep orders moving out the door accurately and on time. This role works
closely with the Outbound Manager and Director of Distribution and provides
leadership in the building during weekend operations.

The schedule for this role is Saturday through Wednesday, with a strong focus on
supporting our eCommerce shipping volume over the weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills to review reports and track inventory.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• A team player who meets productivity standards and looks for ways to improve processes.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RF scanners and WMS systems is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep an eye on the conveyor line to make sure product is flowing smoothly without backups or slowdowns.
• Monitor replenishment so the team always has the inventory needed to keep orders moving.
• Support high-volume eCommerce order fulfillment, especially during weekend shifts.
• Process and release waves for eCommerce shipments.
• Help manage workflow through the Put-to-Wall (PTW) process to ensure orders are sorted and packed correctly.
• Investigate and track down discrepancies when errors occur.
• Separate Will Call and truck shipments from standard carrier shipments.
• Palletize orders and prepare them for pickup or delivery.
• Track air and overnight shipments to make sure they ship before carrier cut-off times.
• Communicate with supervisors about process issues or team performance concerns.
• Use pallet jacks to move orders to the correct shipping locations.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
