About The Position

As an Echocardiogram Sonographer, you would be responsible for performing echocardiograms, two dimensional and M-mode with color flow Doppler and Doppler echocardiography on adult and pediatric patients. You will perform stress echocardiograms, Pharmacological stress testing and assists with Transesophageal echocardiograms on adult patients.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, or meet clinical experience, didactic course work and alternative eligibility as specified in the ARDMS application for certification instructions.
• Must have one of the below, or if not already credentialed, must obtain RCS or RDCS within 12 months from time of hire.
• Registered with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with credentials as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• Registered with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients.
• Conduct two dimensional and M-mode echocardiography with color flow Doppler.
• Perform stress echocardiograms and pharmacological stress testing.
• Assist with Transesophageal echocardiograms on adult patients.
