About The Position

As a Part-Time Weekend Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness, your primary role will be to provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests. You will be responsible for greeting members, answering phones, checking in members, and assisting with new memberships. Additionally, you will ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the club, including the front desk area and lobby. This position requires a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all members.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Above average computer proficiency with an eye for accuracy.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with various questions.
• Check members in, tour and sign-up new members, log amenities, and communicate updates and events.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct beverage and/or merchandise purchases on the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Utilize POS system to assist with new memberships, change of address, and billing or payment questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area and lobby.
• Perform regular facility cleaning and upkeep, including mopping spills, trash removal, and cleaning windows and mirrors.
• Follow designated cleaning schedule and perform walk-arounds.
• Regularly clean and stock restrooms and wet areas.
