About The Position
Creative, passionate, competitive; three traits we're looking for when it comes to our producers at WGHP-TV. You'll be taking over our weekend one-hour long newscasts and filling in as a producer during the week. You need to be a self-starter and quick learner ready to work with a passionate newsroom. Journalism now matters more than ever before and you can be a part of telling the news in the Piedmont-Triad.
Requirements
- Journalism degree
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Some tv news producing knowledge
- Good communicator and collaborator
Responsibilities
- Produce and write newscast
- Work with anchors on presentation
- May be asked to fill-in on other shifts
