We have an immediate opening for a Weekend Merchandiser Servicing Market Areas: Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock Job Description: Execute Wine and Beer Category Resets in Retail Accounts Execute Wine and Beer Category Resets. Mostly weekend work with some weekday delivery assistance. Pay Range: $16-$20/hour When/if Resets are not scheduled for a particular week, candidate will execute the following responsibilities: Building category Displays at retail Pulling back stock and merchandising it on the shelf Executing POS in the market Organizing POS in the Warehouse Provide Delivery Assistance Stocking Shelves and Coolers A work schedule will be assigned each week so the candidate can fulfill their 20 hour per week job requirement. Requirements
- Knowledge of wholesale beverage industry and basic understanding of sales and marketing a plus
- Previous Merchandising Experience preferred.
- Reliable Transportation
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years old and qualify for an ABC Wholesale Salesmen permit
- Must have an active driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. repeatedly
Nice To Haves
- Previous Merchandising Experience preferred.
