About The Position

Hillcrest Home Care, a healthcare provider focused on aging adults, has an opportunity for a Weekend Home Care RN to join our team. This team member provides direct client services in the client's home, as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate has the ability to work in an independent setting, educating clients and their families to promote independence in the home environment. Experience with catheter management, wound care, IV therapy and disease process education is required, and previous OASIS experience is a plus. This casual position has responsibility for a mix of scheduled and PRN visits during weekend daytime hours. Primarily a weekend position, with opportunity for additional weekday or after-hours on-call work if desired. Requirements

  • A graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • Active license to practices as a RN in the State of Nebraska or another nurse licensure compact state
  • Minimum one-year nursing experience
  • Certified Basic Life Support
  • Must maintain current driver's license and auto insurance coverage and have access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of standards effectively
  • Proficient at basic computer/laptop, such as opening and closing Windows applications.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience as a nurse in a home care setting preferred
  • Previous OASIS experience is a plus
