Weekend Driver/Server (Ice Cream Truck)
About The Position
Get a breath of fresh air, sweet treats, and deliver happiness as one of our team members at this exciting and emerging start-up company! Looking for WEEKEND AVAILABILITY (Friday-Sunday). Must be 21 years old or older. Scream Truck's ideal 'Operator' is an upbeat leader who feels comfortable driving a large vehicle (with training), tech-savvy, hard-working, and hospitality-minded. The Operator's primary responsibility is SERVICE WITH A SMILE - preparing fresh soft-serve Scream treats in our mobile kitchen and delivering happiness! In our big pink trucks, Operators drive the truck (working alongside a Co-Operator who assists with navigation). Upon arriving at each reserved stop, the team steps into the mobile kitchen to efficiently prepare FRESH, INSTAGRAM-WORTHY soft-serve treats. With a lively personality and POSITIVE attitude, the team handles pre-paid mobile orders, while managing time to ensure efficient arrival to the next destination (generally homes within and around the block). This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and FUN! Get in on the ground floor of a cool company with other awesome people where your role can grow over time. Scream Truck planted its roots in New Jersey, but will scale across other national markets over time. Our communities are hyped and the demand is high, so, are you ready?!
Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Exceptional people and communication skills
- Upbeat, friendly, and outgoing personality, eager to serve customers happily
- Ability to efficiently navigate local neighborhoods using a map and GPS
- Strong work ethic with a “CAN-DO” attitude
- Ability to alternate between sitting and standing frequently during shift
- Ability to travel through a cabin of approximately 2.5 feet wide efficiently
- Controlled fine motor skills to prepare fresh, made to order treats
- Ability to reach above head for items on shelves
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
Nice To Haves
