About The Position
The Soggy Doggy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Weekend Dog Wash Attendant for part-time shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM to 4 PM at our University Place location. This role is essential in providing a positive experience for our customers and their pets, focusing on teaching customers how to properly bathe and groom their dogs. The position requires a significant amount of cleaning, nail trimming, and retail sales, making it a dynamic and engaging role for those who love working with animals and people alike. As a Dog Wash Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the dog washing area is clean and well-maintained, which is crucial for both hygiene and customer satisfaction. You will also assist customers in understanding the grooming process, providing guidance and support as they wash their pets. This role demands patience, good vision, and grip strength, especially when performing tasks such as nail trimming and gland expression. Excellent customer service and communication skills are vital, as you will be interacting with pet owners and helping them with their needs. The position is part-time, averaging between 8 to 9 hours per week, and is ideal for individuals who are looking for weekend work. The Soggy Doggy offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.28, with potential for additional earnings through sales incentives and tips.
