About The Position

We're looking for a caring, dependable, and professional individual who is certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) to join our team. Requirements

  • Current Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Certification (required).
  • At least 5 years of caregiving experience; experience in behavioral health, social services, education, or healthcare preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stay calm, professional, and effective in stressful situations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • CPR Certification (Required)

  • Experience: CNA/CPI: 3 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Recognize, prevent, and de-escalate potential crisis situations using CPI-approved techniques.
  • Provide support, supervision, and encouragement to clients based on their individualized care plans.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation of interactions, incidents, and interventions.
  • Work closely with other team members to create a safe, therapeutic, and positive environment.
  • Assist with daily activities, behavioral interventions, and crisis response as needed.
  • Offer guidance and support to fellow staff on best practices for crisis prevention and care.
  • Follow organizational policies and state regulations while maintaining high professional standards.
