About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Weekend Companion Caregiver to provide companionship, care, and weekend oversight for a senior family member living on a private ranch in Marble Falls. This role focuses on companionship, safety and care. The individual is mobile, independent, and functions reasonably well.
Requirements
- Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable staying overnight
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Experience with elderly companionship preferred but not required
- CPR/First Aid a plus
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2-3 precooked meals per day
- Assist with bodily needs
- Help with personal hygiene
- Help with dressing
- Administering medications
- Daily exercising - walking
- Provide conversation and participate in card playing and board games
- Be present in home overnight and during day starting at 5:00 pm Friday and ending 8:00 am Monday
- Contact family or emergency services if a fall occurs or some other type of emergency
- Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive presence.
