Weekend Caregiver
About The Position
Do you have experience working in the hospitality, restaurant, or retail industries but are looking for a more rewarding career that would allow you to help others? As a member of our team you will provide one-on-one assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes. In this role you will provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in the customized personal care service plan created for every client. We have an immediate need for caregivers to work weekend shifts.
Requirements
- PCA, HHA, and CNA license or at least one year of professional caregiving experience as a caregiver, home health aide, personal care aide preferred, but not required.
- Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle (required)
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required
- Open availability strongly preferred - must be willing to work a weekend rotation
- Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record
- Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening

Responsibilities
- Communicating with office and family
- Bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming
- Dietary monitoring, meal preparation and feeding
- Light housekeeping, linen changing and laundry
- Grocery shopping, running errands
- Socializing and companionship
- Medication reminders
- Providing transportation to doctor, beauty salon, church, etc.
