Requirements

• Valid CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in good standing
• At least 1 year of experience as a caregiver
• High school diploma or GED
• Certified CPR and negative TB test (or chest x-ray)
• Licensed driver with reliable, insured vehicle
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Ability to communicate clearly in English
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with transfers

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, ambulation, transfers)
• Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and errands
• Provide mobility assistance as outlined in the plan of care
• Observe and report client changes to the Director of Nursing
