Freedom Detox is seeking a Weekend Behavioral Health Technician to join their team. Summary An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. This direct care position has the primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment and providing transportation services for Pyramid Healthcare clients. The technician assists the clinical and administrative teams in identifying and serving client needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license in the state of hire with a safe driving record
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required

- Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
Responsibilities
- Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
- Maintain client documentation
- Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
- Coordinate client activities
- Follow objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
- Provide client transportation
- Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
- Assist with the dietary needs of clients
- Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames
- Supervise and support clients while transporting
- Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
- Complete all required training.
