About The Position

We are Inspire Hospice, a shining star in Atlanta's healthcare constellation, renowned as one of the Best Places to Work by Modern Healthcare. Our devoted team of nurses, social workers, CNAs, chaplains, and hospice professionals is dedicated to providing remarkable, compassionate care to terminally ill patients. As our Weekday On-Call RN, you'll be the night-watch guardian, radiating warmth and comfort to patients and their families from Monday to Thursday, 5pm to 8am. With your extensive knowledge and empathetic presence, you'll create a sanctuary of reassurance and positivity, making you an unsung hero in our patients' lives.

Requirements

• Current GA Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile liability insurance.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience (preferred).
• Previous home health or hospice experience (a bonus, but not mandatory).
• Compassionate communicators with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of hospice care philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about disease processes, end-of-life care, nutrition, and self-care techniques.
• Synchronize with the hospice team to provide nursing services per physicians' orders.
