About The Position

As a Wedding & Gift Registry Consultant at Bloomingdale's, you will be responsible for delivering a personalized customer experience to registrants both in-store and online. Your role involves understanding customer needs, guiding them through the registry process, and providing expert advice on merchandise, particularly in the Home product category. Building and maintaining client relationships is essential, as is driving loyalty through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• Professional and outgoing demeanor.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage in conversation.
• Experience in building client relationships.
• Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
• Proficient in use of computers, including Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Home Store related experience and/or training preferred.
• Curious mindset for understanding registrant needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage and welcome customers to the Gift Registry Department.
• Deliver an exceptional and personalized experience by understanding customer needs and lifestyle.
• Become a product knowledge expert, especially in the Home Department.
• Drive loyalty program by selling applications and enrollments.
• Manage customer interactions through multiple online platforms.
• Use technology to enhance the customer experience and build registry value.
• Meet regularly with Supervisor to review goals and best practices.
• Meet or exceed registry and business goals.
