About The Position
Join our network of independent alteration professionals specializing in bridal and wedding wear. This role involves altering various formalwear items, including wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses, with specific tasks like hemming, bustling, and adjusting bodices, waists, straps, cups, and zippers. You will also work with structured bridal gowns that feature multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning, and tulle. Key responsibilities include conducting fittings, taking precise measurements, clearly communicating timelines to clients, and ensuring high-quality finishing while maintaining an organized workspace suitable for fittings. The platform also receives requests for alterations on prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, suits, and other formalwear.
Requirements
- Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations
- Strong garment construction knowledge + precision measuring
- Machine + hand sewing proficiency
- Professional communication and customer service
Responsibilities
- Alter wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses (hemming, bustle, bodice/waist, straps, cups, zippers)
- Work with structured bridal gowns (multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning/tulle)

- Deliver high-quality finishing and maintain an organized workspace suitable for fittings
