About The Position
Join our network of independent alteration professionals specializing in bridal and wedding wear. This role involves altering wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses, including tasks like hemming, bustling, bodice/waist adjustments, straps, cups, and zippers. The work requires handling structured bridal gowns with multiple layers, lace, beading, linings, boning, and tulle. Key responsibilities include conducting fittings, taking precise measurements, communicating timelines clearly, and delivering high-quality finishing while maintaining an organized workspace suitable for fittings. The platform also receives requests for other formalwear such as prom dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, and suits.
Requirements
- Proven experience with bridal and/or women's formalwear alterations
- Strong garment construction knowledge + precision measuring
- Machine + hand sewing proficiency
- Professional communication and customer service
Responsibilities
