About The Position

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision, the Intern performs work as assigned by the department. Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Intern's work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed. The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines, work in harmony with other people, take direction on each assignment, and give full attention to detail. Independence in working, tact, and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy and protocol are also expected.

Requirements

• Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation.
• They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, review and download on-line written information or create and download imaging and audio content; review and monitor overall appearance of the E-store website to ensure content meets established guidelines and provides accurate product information. Coordinate with Translation Services to ensure translation meets needs of worldwide audience.
• Coordinate new content with Audiovisual Department for photography and sound; Curriculum Department and Translation Services for editing and translation to ensure proper correlation of product and process ownership.
• Coordinate use of imaging, sound, text and translation with other channels, i.e. Global Supply Chain, retail operations and LDS.org website.
• Ensure all content has Intellectual Property approval.
