The Website and Digital Resources Administrator at the University of Chicago operates as a full-time divisional resource, providing extensive support for a variety of website-related tasks and coordinating relevant digital policies, services, and tools. The administrator will also play a significant role in communicating high-level information to PSD web owners and users, ensuring that all digital resources align with UChicago branding requirements and comply with WCAG and internal accessibility standards. In addition to website maintenance, the administrator will contribute to the PSD Communications Team's outreach efforts and special projects, as well as assist in organizing and promoting departmental events. The position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and diagnostics for PSD websites, acting as the first point of contact for web-related inquiries and projects. The administrator will coordinate with web developers to resolve technical issues and implement requested changes, ensuring that all digital platforms function smoothly and effectively. The role also involves facilitating training sessions for users of PSD-supported and affiliated websites, providing guidance on content management, and educating colleagues on best practices regarding accessibility, branding, and security. The administrator will be responsible for setting up and managing Google Analytics accounts, advising leadership on web-related decision-making, and owning the technical components of special projects.
