About The Position

The Website Administrator at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the university's web presence. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience or Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience).
  • Experience in web design and development.
  • Proficiency with Foundation framework, PHP, HTML5, CSS, SASS, and Velocity.
  • Knowledge of Cascade Content Management System (CMS) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CC suite, especially Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Five years of professional web maintenance and development experience.
  • Experience in project management.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of the web content strategy to meet business goals by maximizing the impact and consistency of web content.
  • Perform ADA compliance checks weekly across the university's web presence, documenting issues and applying fixes.
  • Provide training for staff and faculty on maintaining web identity and quality control.
  • Assist in managing service desk work orders to support campus CMS users with diagnosing issues or content updates.
  • Collaborate with on-campus clients and web developers to maintain a consistent user experience.
  • Maintain regular attendance during assigned work schedule and work extended hours when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
